Shaping the Future of Responsible AI in Customer Experience
AI is transforming CX faster than any technology before it. From intelligent automation and generative AI to agentic AI and predictive analytics, organisations now have unprecedented opportunities to improve customer outcomes, empower employees and create more efficient services.
But with opportunity comes responsibility.
How do organisations ensure AI is transparent, fair and trustworthy? How do leaders balance innovation with human judgement? How do we protect customer trust while embracing new technologies? What ethics should be considered?
To help answer these questions, The CX Alliance is launching its Council for Responsible AI
The Council will bring together senior leaders from customer experience, technology, BPO’s and brand leaders to provide practical guidance on the responsible adoption of AI across customer-facing organisations.
Our purpose is simple: to ensure AI improves customer and employee experiences without compromising ethics, trust or accountability.
Our Objectives
The Council will:
Develop practical guidance for organisations implementing AI in customer experience.
Explore emerging ethical challenges surrounding automation, decision-making and customer trust.
Share best practice across industries through reports, events and roundtable discussions.
Support business leaders in understanding evolving UK and European AI governance.
Champion human-centred AI that enhances, rather than replaces, meaningful customer relationships.
Encourage collaboration between industry, government, technology providers and academia.
Areas of Focus
The Council will explore topics including:
Responsible AI governance
Transparency and explainability
AI bias and fairness
Human oversight and accountability
Customer trust and confidence
Employee experience and workforce transformation
